Call me Val! I am nonbinary, my pronouns are they/them.I draw emotes, PNGTubers, character illustrations, and more!Commissions: OPEN

I am a small artist on Twitch and Twitter. I love to draw character art and illustrations! When I'm not working or drawing, I like playing adventure games and farming/ranching simulators.I have some basic knowledge of graphic design principles from my unfinished degree, but I focus mainly on character art. My style tends to be very simple and cartoony. I like to use thick lines and cel-shading, but not exclusively. Most of my work is done using a Wacom tablet.I am currently learning how to create Live2D models, and I also intend to learn 3D character modeling and rigging, video editing, and bot coding, among other things!

If you're wondering, "Hey Val, what's going on with your dono goal on Twitch/Ko-fi?" Well, after having worsening and worsening pain in both my hips, I started seeing an orthopedic surgeon. They say I have labral tears in both my hips, severe hip dysplasia on the right side, mild dysplasia on the left, mild femoral impingement on both sides, and severe femoral anteversion on both sides. In short, I am in an incredible amount of pain because my hips are fucked up. Standing and walking is so painful that is slowly becoming impossible. I am now walking with crutches everywhere every day because of the pain. On my worst pain days, I have to use a wheelchair.I will be getting surgery on my right hip on SEPTEMBER 30TH! (Original date was November 12, but they had a cancellation and were able to move me up!!) This surgery will include arthroscopy for the labral tear and impingement, periacetabular osteotomy (PAO), and femoral derotational osteotomy (FDO). This will be done altogether in the same operation. Since this involves a lot of bone breaking and repositioning, the surgeons expect my recovery to take a minimum of 4-6 months. It will be closer to a year before I feel fully normal, but it will be 4-6 months before I can work again. My Ko-fi goal is currently set to $4000, which should cover my down payment for surgery AND be a start for covering what living expenses I have that short-term disability won't cover. As far as the main surgery bill itself, I don't know how much I will owe. But it is safe to say it will be several thousand. When I find out what it will be, I will try to remember to add it here.Laz and I will be fundraising on our Twitch streams, where we will have donation incentives and redeems and fun activities. Consider stopping by and seeing what we're up to. Or just stop by my Ko-Fi page. Thank you so much for reading. Thank you for your support.
